Val Fredda Special Conservation Area
Bardonecchia
The SIC Val Fredda covers an area of 1686 hectares in the Dora di Bardonecchia basin, it almost completely includes the Val Fredda, a side valley to the Rochemolles Valley
Since 15 March 2019 the SIC has been managed by the management office of the protected areas of the Cottian Alps and has become a special conservation area (Z.S.C.) or S.I.C. for which the region has prepared conservation measures for the relevant sites and species and which has been designated as such by ministerial decree, in agreement with the region.
